How Mindset for Movement began

Having spent most of my working career in the NHS, public health services and a local council, I am aware of the challenges faced by people who are trying to get active.

Training as a sport & exercise psychologist, has helped me understand the anxiety that comes with leading an active lifestyle. I have seen how fear and worry can become all consuming for many people, preventing them from taking initial steps. 

We all know how beneficial being active is for both physical and mental health, but overcoming the challenges involved in this can often feel too difficult to overcome alone.

I wanted to develop a programme that would help people to understand their own mindset so that they can take control over how they feel when it comes to moving more.
